Acknowledging an alert tells the system that you’re aware of the issue, preventing duplicate notifications for the same event. You can also add a short note when acknowledging an alert to share useful information with your contractor. For example: “Furniture was blocking the return — moved it and filter looks clean.” Notes aren’t required, but they help the technician better understand what’s happening before arriving on site, which can speed up troubleshooting and repairs.
